The film Batti Gul Meter Chalu by popular director Shree Narayan is finally out. The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Yami Gautam in the lead roles released today. The movie is based on the pertinent issue that helped the trailer to be viewed by not less than half a million people. The small towns of India is affected the most with such issue and Batti Gul Meter Chalu started with a decent buzz and occupancy report from the morning shows that went to around 40 per cent. With the increasing number of shows in the theatres, the occupancy went on high to reach up to 80 to 90 percent in most of the northern areas.
The film has caught a good response due to the content and good performance of the lead actors. The chemistry of the lead actors have been decent over the silver screen that also helped the audience to catch this film. As per reports, the 1st day box office collection reached to around 6.25 crore, which is decent for the makers to enjoy. The film will certainly going to have a lift over the box office during the weekend considering the positive word of mouth buzz in the media about it. Thus to expect the film reaching beyond 25 crore is very much expected.
The desi stories are getting decent response these days at most of the places in India and hence we see a many films have been made on different issues keeping the desi content alive and doing it in northern states of the country.
