Formula One has partnered with the hypebeast-centric website Complex for an upcoming web series called, “The Pit.” The series will be a five-part series that will be highlighting an F1 team and driver in every episode.
Even though, the Formula 1 video rabbit hole has almost all the entries of Lewis Hamilton episode of “Sneaker Shopping,” but adding some more fun in coordination with the OTT platform, F1 wishes to add an all-new show in this account with Complex, A$AP Ferg, offering access to the sport’s teams and the drivers.
Formula 1 has thus, announced a partnership with the culture website Complex for producing “The Pit,” a five-episode web series that will be hosted by rapper A$AP Ferg that promises “a literal F1 ride through the mechanics of the sport.”
Each episode will be featuring a team and a driver from the current 2019 season, including popular names like- Kimi Räikkönen, Carlos Sainz Jr., Lando Norris, and Daniel Ricciardo. Ferg will also be facing F1-related challenges throughout the series, such as trying to master the track along with writing a fresh rap in Budapest in a McLaren 720S.

It appears that The Pit will be more focused on a culture-oriented look of the sport as compared to the in-depth analysis of what hardcore existing F1 fans are typically craving on. Howver, it is definitely clear that there is going to be a lot of fun with Ferg #blessed best life.
This isn’t going to be the first time Complex will be taking on a project that might appeal beyond the general garden-variety hypebeast. The wildly popular food show titled, “First We Feast” and its spin-off “Hot Ones,” after all, are amogst the couple of other programs, he has already taken over. So, the upcoming series hovers around being more optimistic of brining in the attention of a lot of additional fans to it.
