For Coolie No. 1 Remake Varun Dhawan Chose a Newbie as his leading lady
Both father and son duo – David and Varun Dhawan are gearing up for their next venture called Coolie No. 1. As per reports, they have started up their work for the upcoming film, and it is likely to hit the floors in July 2019. They are working on the script along with the star cast. But as per reports, the makers have decided the leading lady for the said film, and it is a novice and not an established diva for the remake, and it is none other than Sara Ali Khan. She will be playing the character of Karishma Kapoor while Varun is playing the role of Govinda.
The makers now have confirmed the same in the media, while the lady too have given her consent for the venture. In fact, she is also given the dialogues to check and to practice the same before the film hits the floor. The makers are excited to work with the lady as her work in B Town has been recognized, and she has become the new sensation in the industry with her two films – Kedarnath and Simmba. The same writers have been roped in by David Dhawan who has worked with Govinda for the remake.
The writers of the film are currently busy with Sajid Khan next venture – Housefull 4, hence there has been a delay in hitting the remake at the floor. Also, Sara Ali Khan is busy with her next venture called Love Aaj Kal 2 and she is currently shooting for it with Kartik Aaryan. The writers claimed that they have made some required changes with the change of time and have kept the sensibilities of the current times while producing the story and script for the remake. Talking about Varun Dhawan, he has a few films releasing this year, which include Kalank opposite Alia Bhatt next month.
