Maharani 2: airs on SonyLIV on August 25 i.e. today

Maharani 2 is the first in the list of releases which is a sequel to Huma Qureshi’s political series ‘Maharani’. It is a fiction drama whose idea has been adopted from the political disruption in Bihar that occurred in 1990, when the ex-CM of the state, Lalu Prasad made his wife Rabri Devi his heir.

In the sequel, you will watch the conflict between the lead character Rani Bharti (Huma Qureshi) and Bheema Bhari(Sohum Shah) as he returns from jail. This is because he wants to regain his power.

Delhi Crime 2: airs on August 26 (Netflix)

Delhi Crime 2 is next on the list and we know how popular this web series is for its first season. Season 1 of this series narrated the story of the Delhi gang rape that occurred in 2012 shaking up the morals of the whole nation. It also compelled the Parliament to pass Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 2013 (Nirbhaya Act) against sexual crimes like rape and molestation.

Delhi Crime Season 1 won the Emmy Award for Best Drama category. The upcoming season will showcase murders committed by Delhi’s infamous ‘Kachchha-banyan’ group.

Criminal Justice 3: airs on August 26 on Disney+Hotstar

Criminal Justice is among the Indian OTT series that received big thumbs up from the audience. This is why it is now coming with season 3. Pankaj Tripathi will reprise his role as Advocate Madhav Mishra this season too. He will be seen facing the most difficult case of his law career. Pankaj will prepare to fight the case in the courtroom with her assistant public prosecutor Lekha essayed by Shweta Basu Prasad.

Lord Of The Rings: Rings Of Power: airs on September 2 (Prime Video)

The series adopts the legendary trilogy ‘Lord Of The Rings. Titled ‘Lord Of The Rings: Rings Of Power’, is another addition to the list. It will show the heroic legends of the well-known history of the Second Age of Middle-Earth.

This epic show has a background from thousands of years ago and will take you back to the age when Kingdoms rose to glory and were ruined by falling with testing times of unlikely heroes. One of the biggest villains that emerged from Tolkien’s ink will impede filling the entire world with darkness. Recently, the series’ whole team was in Mumbai immersed in its culture. Several Bollywood celebs were also seen with them.

Lord Of The Rings: Rings Of Power’ will be accessible in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. You will get to watch fresh episodes every week.

Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives S2: airs on September 2 (Netflix)

The last one to complete the list is the second season of the show inspired by the popular international series ‘The Real Housewives. Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives S2 highlights the professional and personal lives of Neelam Kothari, Bhavna Pandey, Maheep Kapoor, and Seema Khan. These are the wives of the actors Sameer Soni, Chunky Pandey, Sanjay Kapoor, and Sohail Khan.
