The first week of May 2014 witnessed two movies hitting the theaters. The first one is for the young blood of India called Purani Jeans, while the other is Kya Dilli Kya Lahore (KDKL). The former stars the novices Aditya Seal and Izabelle Leite, who all are seen taking the leading roles in the movie and latter comes from a new director Vijay, which happens to his first movie. Well, as you know the win and lose of any movie simply rely over the audience, but as you know the audience is becoming demanding, hence for the new releases things would be tough for sure. Well, let’s check their individual box office reports as under:
As far as Purani Jeans is concerned, the movie seemed doing well as per the recent reports the total collection for the day one goes around 3 crore, which is really good as compared to the previous week’s releases. Last week three movies were released with three different genre were released, however, not a single was seen a big hit. Most of them were seen struggling over the box office. Purani Jeans seems doing good this week, having a right promotion for the movie, it seems to be rewarding the very first day. Despite the new comers seen in the movie, the collection really was good in the very first day. In fact, in the next few days, the collection of the movie is expected to rise. Thanks to the good content and certain positive reviews coming out there from different quarters of the film world. Also, the word of mouth would certainly going to favor the movie as well.
The other movie is Kya Dilli Kya Lahore, which has a good review coming from different corners of the film world, however, the movie failed to attract good crowd. As per expected, the box office report for the movie has around 1.5 crore collection the day one. However, if you believe the predictions, the movie is likely to do really good in the first weekend replicating the earlier movies hitting the theatres. The comic scenes in the movie are likely to be enjoyed by many, which can play its part in getting good collection in the coming weekend.
