Firoz Nadiadwala Invades Tax Now sentenced for 3 months imprisonment
We know the result of invading taxes in India. People are thrown behind the bars apart from putting a heavy penalty on them. The similar is the story of the popular filmmaker Firoz Nadiadwala. As per reports, the Baaghi producer is put behind the bars for around three months of rigorous imprisonment for invading the GST incurred on him. However, when the producer was asked about the same, he claimed that he has paid the said amount apart from supporting his writer Neeraj Vora as his home with the 24×7 medical attention till his last breath.
He then said that he was just late in submitting the GST amount, and continued saying that he has paid all the amount with the required amount of late payment penalty along with the interest as well. He said he has complete faith in the judicial system. The filmmaker said he would be waiting for the decision from the honorable court until he will be asked to imprison him. He concluded stating that the rest is up to his God what comes in his way, he will take it.
He also said that he is not the first person in paying the tax money as late, while he remains the hardworking producer and has several financial liabilities claims the filmmaker. He has given a number of hit films like Welcome, Hera Pheri, Bhaaghi, Kick and Baaghi 2 to name a few. He also said that he would come out and rescue from the crisis with good wishes. Talking about his work, he is willing to do Hera Pheri 3 with Akshay Kumar along with Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal in the lead role.
