Film Producer Anil Suri No More, He was 77

Anil Suri the known film producer in Bollywood is no more as he left this world due to COVID 19 virus. He was 77 years of age. The veteran producer has given some big films in B Town including the Raj Kapoor and Rekha movie Karmayogi along with Raj Tilak to name a few. He lost his battle against the said virus. As per reports, the late producer’s brother informed that he witnessed some amount of fever on 2nd June. 

He was then reported to the doctor, while soon his conditions deteriorated with issues like breathlessness. He was therefore rushed to  top hospitals in Mumbai- Lilavati and Hinduja, however, he was not lucky enough to get any bed due to rush hour. Later he was admitted to the Advanced Multispeciality Hospital on Wednesday night and then it was revealed that the film producer had COVID 19. 

He was later put on ventilator, while he died around 7.00 pm, while his last rites were carried out yesterday morning at the Oshiwara cremation ground in the presence of his close family members. His body was not allowed to be taken to his residence but was directly taken to the cremation centre. People attending the same came out with their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Besides his brother, the late producer is survived by his wife and two children.

He has given several movies in B Town including the 1979 hit film Manzil with Amitabh Bachchan and Moushumi Chatterjee in the leading roles. After his death several B Town actors have shared their RIP messages. Stay tuned to know more about him and others only with us.
