Fighter Day 6 Box Office: Hrithik Roshan’s Film Records Lowest Numbers Since Release, Accumulates ₹215.8 Crore
The Bollywood film “Fighter,” featuring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, hit theaters on January 25, coinciding with Republic Day. As of now, six days after its release, the action-packed movie is recording single-digit earnings. On Day 6 (Tuesday), it reportedly earned an estimated ₹7.75 crore in the domestic market, following a significant drop of 72.41% from Monday’s earnings, which amounted to ₹8 crore.
Upon its release, “Fighter” garnered ₹22.5 crore, and despite mixed reviews, it experienced a substantial surge of 75.56% on Republic Day, accumulating ₹39.5 crore. However, the weekend witnessed declines, with a drop of over 30% on the first Saturday, accumulating ₹27.5 crore. There was a slight upturn in numbers on the first Sunday, generating ₹29 crore.
Currently, the Siddharth Anand-directed film has amassed ₹134.25 crore domestically, while its global earnings stand at ₹64 crore, totaling ₹215.8 crore worldwide.
“Fighter” is notably the first major star-studded spectacle of 2024, akin to “Pathaan,” which marked the premier big release of 2023. Both movies were released on January 25, a weekday.
In terms of earnings, there appears to be a substantial disparity between Hrithik’s film and Shah Rukh Khan’s All-Time Blockbuster. In six days, SRK’s “Pathaan” crossed ₹300 crore domestically, accumulating ₹307.25 crore.
“Pathaan,” with an India gross collection of ₹657.5 crore and overseas earnings of ₹397.5 crore, garnered ₹1,055 crore worldwide. Therefore, “Fighter” faces a significant milestone ahead. With a budget of ₹250 crore, Shah Rukh Khan’s film achieved All-Time Blockbuster status, putting an end to the prolonged dry spell in the Hindi film industry. According to media reports, “Fighter” has also been produced with a budget of ₹250 crore.
