Father’s Day 2022: Bollywood songs you can dedicate to your father & make him feel special

Fathers make an incomparable contribution to their children’s lives. While the mother’s love and emotions are frequently acknowledged, the father’s loving side is frequently overshadowed by his severe appearance. Father’s Day is observed on the third Sunday in June as a day dedicated to fathers to honour this love and sacrifice.

The bond between a father and his child has frequently been depicted in contemporary cinema. And in honour of Father’s Day, we’ve compiled a list of the top five songs you should add to your playlist.

Papa Kehte Hain:

‘Papa Kehte Hain’ from Aamir Khan’s debut film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak has to be on the top of our list. The song that cemented Aamir’s reputation as a chocolate boy included him portraying the apprehensive feelings of a recent college graduate about to go on a new adventure. In the years since its release, the song has gained cult status and remains popular after three decades. The song features Majrooh Sultanpuri’s lyrics and Anand Milind’s music and is crooned by Udit Narayan.

I Love You, Daddy:

Surprisingly, this song about a father’s love for his kid is sung by Udit and Aditya Narayan, a father-son combination. The song, which features Aamir Khan and child artist Adil Rizvi, effectively captures the onscreen father-son relationship and is an integral component of the film’s plot.

Dilbaro:

The song, which stars Alia Bhatt and her on-screen father Rajit Kapur, encapsulates every father-daughter relationship. Dilbaro, from the 2018 album Raazi, was composed by the Shankar Ehsaan Loy trio and features vocals by Harshdeep Kaur, Shankar Mahadevan, and Vibha Saraf.

Papa Mere Papa:

Every daughter’s superhero is her father, and the song Papa Mere Papa from Mai Aisa Hi Hoon eloquently depicts this feeling. Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, and Baby Aparna contribute vocals to the song.

Papa Ki Pari Hoon Main:

Every father considers his daughter to be an angel. The song includes Kareena Kapoor Khan and is sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. The song is about a girl who declares that she would always be a daddy’s daughter. Kareena sings the song for Pankaj Kapur, who plays her on-screen father in the film.
