Mardaani 2 – will have Rani Mukerji fighting a hardcore villain as a cop
When Mardaani came featuring Rani Mukherji playing a fearless Crime Branch Officer, she was applauded for her work while dealing with the case of human trafficking cracking its racket. She barged the man behind the nexus hard and took her girl out from the evil world. Her performance was excellent playing the fearless police offers in 2014 when the film was released. She then took her maternity break and finally returned with her film Hickhi giving a splendid performance again though it failed at the box office appearing as an average grosser. So, when the makers announced the sequel a few weeks before, they had a similar storyline in the film.
As per reports, she is once again seen in the same avatar playing an antagonist in Mardaani 2. This time again she has a similar issue to deal in the film that made the Indian society bad and she has to deal with a hardcore criminal in it. Her earlier role was Shivani Roy, and this time she would be playing the Superintendent of Police or SP that plays a vicious battle of something that is known as sheer evil. The makers are yet to release the story of the film, but we hear something about the star cast of the movie. The reports suggest that the film has a debut for this young boy in the movie which will back the influential role of the lady.
We know Aditya Chopra or Yah Raj Films are always in a hunt of new talents, and they have given some really good actors in the Industry. With their 3 movie contract, they help the novices to get a decent role. Earlier in the first part, we saw Tahir Raj Bhasin the newcomer and talented actor playing the negative role in it. This time, the makers have someone who would be playing a blood-chilling role in it while playing the negative role. The sources only disclosed that he is a young guy so all we can do is guesses for the man in the negative role. Gopi Puthran who is also a novice in B Town will be directing the movie, while it will be produced under Yash Raj Films.
