The Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Fan is going great guns when it comes to doing good business not just in local market but also in the overseas markets. In fact, together if you sum up these two collections, you are going to get more than 100 crores, which make the film enter the hundred crore club. As per reports, the first weekend box office collection in India tolled to 52.35, which excluded the South Indian circuits wherein SRK has released the film in Tamil, Telugu and other languages. Thus the total amount collected in India in the first weekend clubbing both the rest of India and South India tolled to around 74 crores.
Now with this collection the 43 crore collection in the overseas market including, which include the Middle East, UK, US, Australia and other places. Thus the total collection goes to around 117 crores in total for the world wide collection in the first weekend. Hence it won’t be wrong to claim that the movie actually entered in the hundred crore club in just three days provided you include the overseas collection. The film Fan has Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role, which features Waluscha De Sousa, Sayani Gupta and Shriya Pilgaonkar in the supporting roles.
