The recently released film of Shah Rukh Khan called Fan seems to have got a good opening. After a strong buzz in the media and of course the high star value, the film was expected a good response over the box office. Also, the reviews of the film have been decent and SRK’s performance was appreciated to a huge extent. Though the film was supposed to do a blockbuster business, but the film sufficed with the figures, which were witnessed over the box office as in the case of Happy New Year and other films. In just three days, the film HNY managed to get 100 crores, which was not the case with Fan.
As per reports, the first weekend box office collection of Fan tolled to around 52.30 crores, which is decent and highest grocer of any B Town film in 2016, however, it is lesser than the other SRK movies. The movie has done better this year as compared to other films. Fan therefore was seen surpassing Airlift and even The Jungle Book collections. However, if you sum up all the collection at the world wide level along with the south Indian audience (as fan was released in Telugu, Tamil and other south Indian languages), the collection could toll to a huge amount.
Also, if you believe the experts, the Maneesh Sharma film is expected to set a record after the end of the first week. As the collection of the film is likely to zoom a lot in the coming week days, the real fun for the movie will be seen progressing the lifetime collection. Now as you see the countdown, the film is likely to be entering into the super-interesting mode. Interestingly, the first weekend box office collection tolled to around 43 crores in the overseas collection, so together the collection can reach to around 95 crores.
