After average performance at Box Office with Half Girlfriend Shraddha Kapoor will join Rajkummar Rao for the first time in a horror comedy titled Stree. Due to some rumours which was earlier pinching now its become true as Shooting for the movie has been shifted to Mumbai. The reason? The makers have planned to shoot a extra song in the city. It was shoot in Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, the team has almost wrapped up its mega schedule in the small town. Though Stree already has some cracking songs that were shot in the town, but makers have decided to move to Mumbai to shoot for yet another promotional song.
So despite the fact that Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao have finished work on the film, they will still returning to it to shoot for this extra song. The new said song will be a crunchy number to be choreographed by Vijay Ganguly. As per reports Stree is set in a small town, the said number will be a contemporary one. Also both Shraddha and Rajkummar will be seen in their on screen characters in this promotional song. The song is expected to have only new age beats. It’s shooting will be complete by the end of May. Apart from the music album of Stree is expected to feature three other songs in which two of them have already been shot in Chanderi. Out of which one features Rajkummar Rao along with Nora Fatehi. Nora is supposed to be doing a Item Song in the film where she will be seen flaunting her belly dance moves. Fatehi trained her for the song in just four days. The other actors have currently shot with the scratch version of songs.
As per early report Stree might release at the end of December 2018, it will be directed by Amar Kaushik.
