Biopics are now the new norms of B Town. We see every other Bollywood filmmaker trying his or her luck int his genre giving the audience something interesting and worthy about people and heroes who have done wonders in our society. There are a few in the B Town, which would soon going to hit the screens. These include Sardar Udham Singh, Shakuntala Devi and Thalaivi, and several others. One more to be added in the list is the biopic to be made on the life of Mathematician Vashishtha Narayan Singh.
As per the recent buzz, the actor, director and singer Farhan Akhtar and his friend Ritesh Sidhwani would produce the movie under their banner Excel Entertainment. This man was a legend when it comes to the field of Mathematics. The makers feel that his life should be told to the world and cinema is the best way to make the life popular. While talking about their next plans at a press conference, the makers announced the film. They also announced the man who would be directing the film Neeraj Pathak.
The press conference was addressed by Singh’s family members Harishchandra Singh, Shiv Mangal Ji, Mukesh Singh, Rakesh Singh and Mithilesh Singh. Also, Neeraj Pathak, the director of the movie was present. The mathematician just passed away last month on 14th November in Patna. He was the man who challenged Einstein’s theory of relativity. Earlier Prakash Jha too has announced about making a film on life on the life of the legend, but the objection in giving the rights to him by his brother shelved the project.
