The year 2019 can be called as a year of remakes and sequels as we hear one filmmaker or the other announcing the same. Now, as per the latest buzz, we hear that the filmmakers in B Town have plans to make a remake of the classic film Arth. For this, a few makers of the B Town film have approached Emran Hashmi along with the divas like Jacqueline Fernandes and Swara Bhaskar for the Arth Remake.
So, with this these divas would be playing the characters played by veteran actresses like Smita Patil and Shabana Azmi, while Emraan Hashmi would be seen as the leading man of the film. Yes, you heard it right the trio would be coming in the Mahesh Bhatt’s next venture, which will be directed by Revathi the known filmmaker from South India. The original film was a big hit when it was released in the media when the makers were able to touch some taboo issues with it over the silver screen.
As per reports, Emraan is likely to get the male lead which might be Kulbhushan Kharbanda’s role. The moment the actor was approached for the film, he seemed very much excited about this remake venture.
