The primetime nominations for the awards has been whopping this year with the tally reaching to 160. Yes, you heard it right and with this staggering amount of nominations, the streaming giant has beaten HBO the linear TV giant and the other streaming players like Amazon, Disney+ and Apple TV+.
With this, HBO stood second with 107 Emmy nominations, with its hit series including Watchmen that has bagged around 26 nominations getting the approval of the best limited-series category.The series deals with superhero graphic novels called albeit with a more diverse cast getting a stronger focus on the issue of racism in the US.
