The internet is still going hard to recover from Aditya Seal’s bizarre comparison of Student Of The Year 2 with Avengers: Endgame and now with Ekta Kapoor’s weirdest comparison, things have gone really hard.

Ekta Kapoor went ahead to compare her show Naagin to Game of Thrones mentioning that both the shows have a lot is common.

Extending her talks, she said that if people can like dragons in Game of Thrones then why not ichhadhari naagins in Naagin?

Talking to TOI, Ekta said, “What are the big shows that are working internationally, currently? People are watching dragons. It is uber cool for them to watch dragons, but when India watches naagins, it is not cool. Isn’t this anti-populist? Why do we look down on the masses and their choices (sic)?”

In fact, growing with uncanny comparison she didn’t hesitate in comparing the scene in which Jon Snow is coming back from dead in Game of Thrones to her shows.

Adding further, Ekta Kapoor said, “Didn’t Jon Snow return from the dead? If you are not the audience, you will criticize, but then, that’s ringside play. Data proves that people are watching these shows because every time there is a kidnap, murder or a hero returns from the dead, there is a surge in ratings. It is an escapism for the Indian audience.”
