Ekta Kapoor Donates Rs. 2.5 crores for Helping Co-workers at Balaji Telefilms
With the ongoing lockdown, things are turning bad to worse for the daily wage earners. The 21 days lockdown seems to have wrecked havoc calling crisis to the section of the society which earn on a daily basis. Hence many of the B Town celebs have come forward donating money for such people. This include Salman Khan and others who transferred money to their direct bank accounts of not less than 25000 workers.
Ekta Kapoor is the latest to join the bandwagon of these celebs in B Town. Amidst the global pandemic, the nation seems to have gone inside the home. Ekta Kapoor who owns the big production house – Ekta Kapoor has now decided to donate her one year salary to the staff of her company who have been undergoing the financial stress over her co-workers. She was quick to announce the same on her social media handle.

In her tweet, she announced her one year salary of 2.5 Crores at Balaji Telefilms for her daily wage workers who earn on a daily basis and are facing crisis amidst the complete lockdown. Her production house Balaji Telefilms remains the biggest production house in small screen industry in India. She also owns production house for films and web series as well.
