It’s been just 12 days since Ek Villain has hit the theaters starring the novices like Siddharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor. As per reports, the movie is just at the brink of touching the 100 crore mark. Despite the newbie production, direction and acting, the movie got a flying start, which maintained somehow in the last 12 days making the mark of 99.60 crore.
This would be the fourth movie in 2014 crossing the 100 crore figure, while talking in terms of business, the pace of revenue generation as compared to the other hundred crore movies, its seems to be fast and incredible. The trio Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh have been awesome in their performances particularly the latter who has tried his luck of negative character for the first time. Breaking away his jinx of comedy, he was seen in a new avatar of negative character, which really seems to work perfect for Riteish Deshmukh. The trade analysts claim that the return on investment (ROI) for the filmmakers have been incredible, which tolled to around 184 percent in just 12 days.
