Ek Din Trailer: Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan Wish for One Magical Day of Love
The much-awaited trailer for Sunil Pandey’s Ek Din has arrived, marking Sai Pallavi’s Bollywood debut opposite Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan. The romantic drama offers a heartwarming glimpse into a classic love story with a magical twist.
The trailer introduces Junaid as Rohan, a shy and awkward office employee, while Sai Pallavi plays Meera, his colleague and love interest. The story centers around a wishing bell that grants any wish made while standing beneath it. Rohan shares with his friend, “I wish Meera were mine even if just for a day.
”When the wish comes true, Rohan gets to spend a magical day with Meera, filled with moments of joy and connection. However, things take a sudden turn when Rohan reveals the truth about his wish and its limited time frame. The emotional consequences of this revelation leave a lasting impact on their relationship, culminating in a powerful moment where Meera slaps him, as shown in the trailer’s closing scene. The promo also features a cameo by actor Kunal Kapoor.
Ek Din is inspired by the Thai film One Day and is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, with Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit as producers. Set to hit theatres on May 1, Ek Din is expected to face competition from Riteish Deshmukh’s Raja Shivaji, which stars Riteish alongside Genelia Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, and others.
Junaid Khan was last seen in Loveyapa opposite Khushi Kapoor, while Sai Pallavi’s recent work includes the Telugu film Thandel.
