Ellie Goulding returns with a new single and video track, “Easy Lover,” which includes Big Sean. Sean Don congratulated the singer on Instagram and wrote, “I have a few times with more than 10 years ago on my debut album on High with Wiz, and it just proves how long she’s been doing it! Thanks for sharing your new single, “Easy Lover,” and a huge congrats! Goulding is portrayed as a variety of characters, including a teacher and an androgynous rocker who portrays a strange creature. In the film, Big Sean makes a cameo when Goulding portrays an instructor who takes pictures of students.
“I was very worried that the video might simply end up as an image of the track. However, I wanted it to be something completely different. The idea was to feel strange, as if we’re in a parallel universe, or that we’re being a part of some sort of simulation, such as an online game,” she tells Rolling Stone UK.
