Dulquer Salmaan has wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming gangster drama film ‘King Of Kotha’. Reportedly, some of the major portions of the movie were shot in Kerala, Kochi, Mattancherry, Kalamassery,
Cinematographer of the film Arvind S Kashyap dropped a picture with Dulquer Salmaan on his Instagram handle to announce the wrap up of the shoot. “After 2 weeks of sleepless shoot ! This year has been full of surprises and fanboy moments. This one has to be sweetest of all 😊😊. Thank you universe,” he captioned the post.

The film was first announced in 2021 and its production began back in September 2022.
Along with Dulquer Salmaan, Aishwarya Lekshmi,Prasanna, Shammi Thilakan, Anikha Surendran, Nyla Usha, Shabeer Kallarakkal and Sudhi Koppa, Shanthi Krishna, Senthil Krishna, Rajesh Sharma, Saran Shakthi, Rititka Singh, and Manju Vani feature in the crime drama “King of Kotha.” Tovino Thomas will also make an appearance in the film. While information on who or what the Minnal Murali star would play in the film remain unknown.
Abhilash Joshiy, the son of famous director Joshiy, makes his directorial debut with the film. Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films is producing the film in collaboration with ZED Studios. Nimish Ravi will manage the cinematography, and Jakes Bejoy will compose the soundtrack.
Meanwhile, ‘King Of Kotha’ is scheduled to release worldwide on 24 August 2023 during Onam and it will clash with Mohanlal’s much awaited mystery thriller ‘Ram’.
Dr. Vineetha, Mohanlal’s wife, will be played by Trisha Krishnan. This will be the actress’s second Malayalam film, following 2018’s Hey Jude, in which she co-starred with Nivin Pauly.
Indrajith Sukumaran, Sai Kumar, Siddique, Adil Hussain, Durga Krishna, Suresh Chandra Menon, and Leona Lishoy join Mohanlal and Trisha in the cast.
