The film Drive starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez is again pushed forward getting a new release date. The film by Tarun Mansukhani has been in news for making changes in the release date for several number of times. The movie talks about the speed racing and car chases, which is now giving some fresh pair the B Town. Earlier, the movie was slated to release last year in September, and then got delayed for a year.
Again the fans are disappointed as the film that was supposed to be released in June 2019 is now being pushed ahead. This is not happening that has dismayed both the fans and even Jacqueline as well. The makers claim that the film involves huge amount of VFX effects that are supposed to be completed by this year at the same time, there are some reshoots to be made as there are discrepancies as per the team.
The other big reason for pushing the release date is Sushant Singh Rajput’s next film Chhichhore that is lined up to release this year. Since his earlier film Sonchiriya was a debacle at the box office, the makers declared that they would give the actor a fair chance to see his film doing well at the box office. By releasing Drive in the midst may hamper the promotion and thus the buzz for the film in the media. Now, the film Drive would be releasing in September of October while Chhichore is releasing in August.
