Though the film Drishyam started with a slow note on the first day, but with the passing number of shows and days, the movie managed to get a good start in its first weekend. The film has recorded a decent surge in the past two days giving a good collection over the box office. The first day collection was around 8.05 crores, with the collection going a bit higher on the second day as 9.40 and finally on Sunday, the film managed to get 10.50 crores. This has eventually given a decent figure over the first weekend collection, which went to around 28 crores.
Thus, the current Drishyam First Weekend Box Office collection has helped the film to make it the eight largest grosser of this year. The average occupancy over the cinema halls on its first weekend kept on increasing, giving the film a better moolah over the Box Office. As per reports, Drishyam is certainly the right film of this week, which seemed unaffected with mighty films like Bahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Thanks to the positive word of mouth buzz that has managed to give a good boost of the film in the first weekend. The experts are expecting a decent collection in the weekdays too.
