Ajay Devgn’s highly anticipated crime thriller, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion, has stormed the box office following its wide theatrical release on October 2, 2026. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film capitalized on the Gandhi Jayanti holiday weekend, delivering remarkable collections across national and international circuits. Within just two days of release, the film successfully breached the elite ₹100 crore domestic benchmark.
Strong Saturday Performance Drives Domestic and Global Surge
According to early estimates from industry tracker Sacnilk, Drishyam 3: The Conclusion earned ₹53.50 crore net across domestic screens on Saturday. Although this represented a slight 13.7% dip from Friday’s explosive opening numbers, solid audience footfalls maintained a healthy 46.1% occupancy rate throughout Day 2. The strong Saturday earnings pushed the film’s total two-day domestic collection to ₹115.50 crore. Globally, the thriller has already amassed ₹177.10 crore in gross earnings. With Sunday projections showing a strong upward trend, industry analysts expect the film to comfortably cross the ₹150 crore mark in India and surpass ₹200 crore worldwide before the extended opening weekend concludes.

A Fitting End to a Hit Crime Franchise
Serving as the definitive final chapter of the Hindi Drishyam saga, the thriller brings together an impressive ensemble cast. Alongside Ajay Devgn, the film stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Prakash Raj, Jaideep Ahlawat, Kamlesh Sawant, Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Samvedna Suwalka, and Neha Joshi. Notably, while the film arrives shortly after Mohanlal’s Malayalam original Drishyam 3, the Hindi adaptation takes an entirely distinct narrative route, earning critical acclaim for its screenplay and stellar performances.
The franchise originally debuted in 2015 with Nishikant Kamat’s acclaimed first installment. Following its massive success, Abhishek Pathak took over directorial duties for the 2022 blockbuster sequel Drishyam 2. This final entry cements the series as one of Hindi cinema’s most successful thriller franchises.
