Double Delight for Hrithik Roshan: Birthday and Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai Re-Release on January 10, 2025

One of the most talented and charismatic actors in Indian cinema, Hrithik Roshan, will commemorate 25 years in the industry in January 2025. His debut film, Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, was released on January 14, 2000, and became an instant success, catapulting Hrithik to overnight stardom. To celebrate this milestone, Hrithik and his father, producer-director Rakesh Roshan, have decided to re-release this beloved film in theaters.

As per the BTown portal- Bollywood Hungama, “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai will hit cinemas again on Friday, January 10, coinciding with the week of its original release.

Rakesh Roshan recently re-released his cult classic, Karan Arjun (1995), and is committed to ensuring this film is presented in its best form. The prints have been meticulously re-mastered, giving the film a fresh look.”The source added, “The film remains relevant due to its engaging storyline, memorable music, and mass appeal. It positioned Hrithik Roshan as the nation’s heartthrob. Many young fans, some of whom were too young or not yet born when the film first released, will have the chance to experience it in theaters and enjoy hits like ‘Ik Pal Ka Jeena’ on the big screen.”

Additionally, January 10 is significant as it marks Hrithik’s birthday, making it a double celebration. Also, the much-anticipated documentary The Roshans is set to premiere on Netflix on January 17, promising a month of festivities for the Roshan family.Interestingly, the re-release trailer of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai has been screening in cinemas since December 27. The trailer is expected to be available digitally in the first week of January 2025.The film also introduced Ameesha Patel and featured notable actors such as Anupam Kher, Satish Shah, Farida Jalal, and others in supporting roles. The story revolves around a young orphaned singer who falls in love with a wealthy girl, only to be murdered. Fate intervenes when the girl meets his lookalike in New Zealand, and together they seek to uncover the truth behind his death.
