Dostana 2 is Going to Hit the floor soon but not with Tarun Mansukhani

It was Tarun Mansukhani who directed the Dharma Productions venture Dostana with John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, and Priyanka Chopra. The film will now have a sequel. It was confirmed that it will have Kartik Aaryan and Jhanvi Kapoor to be in the lead role playing siblings in it. But as per the recent buzz, the film will have a new director called Colin De Cunha who has been roped in for the next film.

As per reports, Karan Johar seemed to have now geared up for the sequel but as per him, the director of the prequel Tarun is no more finding the idea worthy. It was way back in the year 2009 when we saw the film hitting the screens. Katrina Kaif would be replacing Pee Cee and with the new director, we have a new star cast as well for the sequel. However, the way the stars are cast for the film did not happen randomly but has followed a sequence.

Kartik Aryan has been often seen in the office of Dharma Productions along with the parties of Karan Johar. It seems that the Pyaar Ka Punchnama actor has been doing a roll call kind of things to his offices or parties. While Janhvi has been the favorite new girl in the B Town with the blue eyes for the makers hence she was roped in for the role. Also, there are rumors that Khushi Kapoor who is the younger daughter of Sridevi will also get Dharma Productions’ launching film. The star cast for Dostana 2 is final, while all we hear is the Gully Boy actor Siddharth Chaturvedi is also trying to be on the board but it seems that Karan is not interested much to take him.
