Pooja Hegde to star opposite Shahid Kapoor in action- thriller ‘Koi Shaq’?
Pooja Hegde, who was recently seen in the action- entertainer ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ alongside Salman Khan, has signed on for another major film.
Pooja Hegde is slated to co-star alongside Shahid Kapoor in the upcoming action-thriller ‘Koi Shaq,’ according to recent media reports. According to the most current Pinkvilla media source, the makers of ‘Koi Shaq’ have cast Pooja as the female protagonist opposite Shahid Kapoor for their upcoming action-thriller project.
“Rosshan and Siddharth wanted to go ahead with a fresh casting and they have zeroed in on Pooja Hegde to play the female lead alongside Shahid Kapoor. It’s an action thriller and the team is excited to take it on floors,” revealed Pinkvilla’s source.
“It was not titled for the longest time but the team has finally got a very relevant title. Koi Shaq gives the vibe of an engaging murder mystery with action. The film was going to go on floors on May 8, but the shoot schedule is yet to be chalked out, as there seems to be a delay at this point of time,” the source added.
Although there has been no formal word from the film’s producers about this latest development, if true, it will be Shahid and Pooja’s first collaboration on the big screen.
‘Koi Shaq’ is directed by prominent Malayalam director ‘Roshan Andrews’, who is known for creating critically praised thriller films such as Mumbai Police (2013) and Salute (2022).
Koi Shaq’ is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Zee Studios, while the rest of the cast and crew details have been kept under wraps.

Meanwhile, apart from ‘Koi Shaq,’ Pooja Hegde will next be featured in an untitled Telugu action drama in which she will be seen opposite Mahesh Babu. Shahid Kapoor, on the other hand, will be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bloody Daddy and an untitled sci-fi rom-com starring Kriti Sanon.
