Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Share Video of Damaged Car After Passports and Cash Are Stolen in Italy

Indian actors Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya recently shared glimpses of their damaged car in Italy, from which their belongings were stolen. Taking to Instagram Stories, the couple also requested that people refrain from offering advice on how they should have taken care of their belongings. Divyanka also provided an update on their current situation. Vivek shared a video showcasing the extent of the damage to their car. In the Instagram Stories, Vivek offered a close-up view of their car, which was parked amidst lush greenery. One of the doors was wide open, and the window glass was shattered, with shards scattered on the back seat. A cap was seen placed on top of a paper bag near the back seat.
Expressing their loss, Vivek stated in the video, “This was supposed to be a secure location. The hotel staff knew that we had belongings in the car. Only to find out that we have lost everything. Our documents, including passports, cash, and all the shopping we had done over the last 15 days. Everything is gone.”On their Instagram accounts, Divyanka and Vivek shared a note that read, “The car was parked in a secure resort property when the break-in occurred. Please refrain from troubling us by suggesting how we should have taken care of our belongings. The resort was aware that our luggage was in the car, and they were accommodating about it.”
They further added, “This can happen to anyone, but we hope it doesn’t! (Folded hands emoji). If you can, please be of help or empathize. If that seems difficult, please carry on with your own business.” Divyanka also mentioned in another note, “Current status: Currently getting a detailed report filed at the local police station.”During their holiday in Florence, Divyanka and Vivek experienced the unfortunate incident. Their passports, cash, and cards were stolen after thieves broke the window of their vehicle while it was parked at a resort near the Italian tourist town. Although the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon (local time), they only discovered the theft in the evening.
