Although the film Saina starring Parineeti Chopra managed to get good reviews by many critics, the film failed to impress the audience. The performance of the leading lady was applauded a lot getting rave reviews by most of the critics and Pee Cee even recognized it by thanking them all, but the sports biopic failed to attract the audience in a big way. In fact, the box office collection has remained horrible giving tough time to many. Check how Pee Cee thanked everyone for the positive reviews: 

The opening day collection was mere 25 lakhs and similar was the story on the second day, while Sunday also had lower figure giving the collection to be extremely poor for any sports biopic to be seen at the box office. As per reports, the first weekend box office collection for Saina went to around 0.68 Crores at the box office. Yes, you heard it right, others also have confirmed about the same.
