As per Bollywood Hungama, “Param Sundari is currently slated for release on July 25. Dinesh Vijan had a meeting with his team to discuss whether they should maintain this date or push it back. There are too many releases scheduled for next month, which is prompting the team to reconsider.”The source added, “The Maddock team is eyeing August 29 as a potential new release date, as no other film is set to release on that day. They are also exploring other options.”The source cautioned that “Maddock is known for making quick decisions.
We’ve seen this before when they released Zara Hatke Zara Bachke within three weeks or postponed Bhool Chuk Maaf not just by a week but also opted to cancel its theatrical release altogether. So with Dinesh Vijan, it’s hard to predict; he might either push the release or stick to July 25. A clearer picture should emerge in the coming days.”If Param Sundari is delayed, Son Of Sardaar 2 would enjoy a solo Bollywood release on July 25. Overcrowded July Box Office
Meanwhile, industry insiders are concerned about the overcrowded release schedule in July. The month will kick off with the musical Metro…In Dino, the pan-India film Kingdom, and the highly anticipated Hollywood movie Jurassic World: Rebirth clashing at the box office on July 4. Following that, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan starring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor, along with Rajkummar Rao’s action drama Maalik and another Hollywood blockbuster, Superman, will release on July 11.
On July 18, Mohit Suri and Yash Raj Films will debut their romantic saga Saiyaara, which also marks the debut of Ahaan Panday. That day will see the release of two more Hollywood films: Smurfs and I Know What You Did Last Summer.
