Dil Juunglee and 3 Storeys – 1st Weekend Box Office Collections
It was a busy Friday, when we saw too many films hitting the screens, which include Hate Story 4, Dil Juunglee and 3 Storey. The fourth edition of the Hate Story has failed to perform at the box office. Now, we need to discuss the two other releases that comes in the form of Dil Juunglee and 3 Storeys. As per reports, the film Dil Juunglee seemed too lower and the collection went under the 50 lakhs mark. We know that the Romcoms have been not good in terms of collecting money at the box office, while the multiplex audience for the genre too has reduced as well. Though the movie has ace actress like Taapsee Pannu in the lead role, yet it failed to impress the audience.
So, talking about the 1st weekend collection of the film Dul Juunglee, the collection tolled to around 2.5 crore. The film has no chance to get a lift during the week days as it has managed to get such a meager money in the first weekend and similar would be the story during the week days as well. Now, let’s talk about the other film called 3 Storeys. The reviews of the film have been good for the good performances and story line, however, with low star value, the film failed to get a big opening. Yet it remained the same in terms of performance over the box office like the Rom Com.
The film 3 Storeys has been the low affair as far as its opening was concerned and so was the word of mouth, which simply meant to play like the major role in the registered footfalls. The promo of the film did seemed to have an impression of seen being like the intriguing drama, however, still the feel and look was on the lines over the festival cinema. The opening day numbers have simply reached to 50 lacs mark only unlike the romcom. As per reports, the 1st weekend box office collection for 3 Storeys reached to around 2.75 crore and the week days collection would remain the same.
