Riya Sen used to make news for her daring photoshoots and relationship rumours before she wed her partner Shivam Tiwari. Few people are aware that Bollywood actor John Abraham and Riya Sen once dated. Additionally, there have been rumours that the “Attack” star was once so smitten with Riya that he even wanted to wed her.
According to sources, Riya first met John in the late 1990s. When they first encountered each other, just before the release of Riya’s debut Bollywood film “Style,” John was not all that well-known in the film industry and had just started to establish himself in the modelling world. And they begin to fall in love right away. When they first started dating, John apparently was eager to get married to Riya since he was so deeply in love with her.
For the sake of her Bollywood career, which sadly never took off, Riya Sen declined the offer. At the time, she had a high level of ambition and was primarily concerned with her supposedly bright career. So when John’s marriage proposal ran into trouble, the two decided to call it quits.
After that, Riya appeared in a number of movies in both Bollywood and Tollywood but failed to find success.
John, meantime, had a successful Bollywood debut with “Paap” in 2003 and has since become one of the industry’s most in-demand actors, particularly for commercial potboilers.
