Bollywood couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are one of the most favourite couples in the industry. Recently, in an interview, Ranveer Singh revealed a moment during the promotions of Bajirao Mastani when he went ahead and hugged Deepika tightly in front of the media.
Ranveer said, “Maine camera ke saamne usko ek bahut tight hug dia tha Deepika ko first time toh usne bola tu camera ke aage aise mere ko hug karega kya. Bhadak gai thi ekdam vo time pe.”
Well, apart from this, a video of the couple has been all over the internet from the Cannes festival. In this video, the Simmba star is seen sitting on Deepika’s lap in the viral video. “Today, I’m here present,” Ranveer says as she refers to him as her “trophy.” In this video, both characters appear to be happy and deeply in love. In a blue t-shirt and matching shorts, the actor is at his most relaxed. Deepika appears to be sitting in her dressing room when Ranveer appears and takes a seat on her lap. Fans and netizens couldn’t stop gushing over the duo when the video went viral, dubbing them ‘cuties.’
Deepika Padukone also admitted that being asked to be a member of the Cannes jury surprised her. According to reports, she said, “They [the festival management] seem so convinced about why they made that decision. And it makes me sit back and think sometimes maybe I’ve not given myself enough credit. And that’s okay too, because, I don’t want to be feeling like, like this huge achievement or whatever. If I’ve landed here today, without even realizing it, I must be doing something right.”
