Did you know Alia Bhatt was paid just THIS amount for SOTY

Due to the success of films like “Darlings” and “Gangubai Kathiawadi,” Alia Bhatt has become well-known in B-Town. The actress has earned her place as one of the top paid actors in the business over the course of her ten years in front of the camera.

The actress recently revealed the amount of her first paycheck for her first performance. In 2012, Alia Bhatt made her Bollywood debut in the Karan Johar-directed film “Student of the Year.” According to Alia’s statement to mid-day, she was paid Rs 15 lakh for her portrayal of the film’s leading lady.

The actress continued by saying that she gave her mother Soni Razdan her check and that she still relies on her mum to handle her finances. Along with Alia, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra made their Bollywood debuts with this movie.

Speaking about her journey of 10 years, Alia had told ETimes, “When people ask me, would you go back and change anything about your life, I always say I genuinely have no regrets. I have nothing that I would change in the past because the person I am today is because of all the steps I took in the past. I feel very grateful that I have a voice that can put content together. I can fuel ideas that come to me from young directors and writers and that’s a beautiful position to be in. It’s a position of responsibility, too. I have worked really hard to get where I am today. Hard work is a given in any field, but I feel none of this would have been achievable without the blood, sweat, tears and the many sleepless nights. But I have endured. I am excited about building my production house and putting out more content.”
