We now Dia Mirza as a yesteryear actress but apart from being an actress, she is also a film producer. She has given a couple of movies like Bobby Jasoos and others in B Town. Hence when she saw a delegation from Bollywood going and meeting the Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi she was upset and slammed both the PM and the B Town stars and filmmakers who met this Tuesday at the Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. The meeting on 18th December 2018 has been in discussion since the past two days, which was convened at the above-said venue in the B Town city.
The meeting had a discussion over the issues the filmmakers and people from the film fraternity face while doing their ventures. The meeting was successful as claimed by Mr. Modi who was seen tweeting about the same. However, the moment the news came out of the meeting to see Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar and other going to meet the PM in Raj Bhavan in Mumbai, the Twiterwadi raised a question as to why not there was a lady representing with the industry considered in the delegation to meet the PM. Many people over the Microblogging raised the objection for not having any representation from the ladies in the meeting despite the industry has a sizeable amount of actresses and ladies working in different departments.
Joining the Twitterwadi, the filmmaker Dia Mirza too slammed the PM Modi and the actors and filmmakers in B Town who represented the delegation. She called it to be an all men meeting. She added a sarcasm stating that it was strange to see no ladies representation in this room. It was a huge delegation that went to meet the PM, which included the filmmakers Ritesh Sidhwani, Karan Johar, Ronnie Screwwala, Rakesh Roshan, along with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chief Prasoon Joshi, with Sidharth Roy Kapoor who is known film producer and remains the president of the Film Producers Guild. The actors included Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar who also made their presence in the meeting.
