Here’s how Shehnaaz Gill’s role in ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ fulfilled her mother’s prophecy!
The vivacious Big Boss 13 participant Shehnaaz Gill who was last seen opposite Diljit Dosanjh and Sonam Bajwa in 2021’s Punjabi romantic comedy ‘Honsla Rakh is now ready to make her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan’s forthcoming flick Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. However, the actress’ path to this rare opportunity to share screen space with Salman Khan has not been easy.
“I was once rejected at an audition for a music video and felt really dejected,” the actress revealed while reflecting on her early experience in the profession and now seizing the opportunity to work with Salman Khan. “I was upset and in tears. My mother was my only source of support at the time, and she encouraged me to believe in myself. She told me at the time that one day I’d work in a film with Salman Khan. And now, Salman sir has given me this opportunity, fulfilling both my hopes and my mother’s prophecy.”
“Now that I’m on the big screen, I’m not that nervous,” she continued. But, you know, it happens when Salman sir is in the room. But I’m not nervous anymore. It is great to be with such notable people who have accomplished so much in their lives. It gives me great pride to be standing beside Salman Sir right now. And I’d like to thank Salman sir for this wonderful opportunity to collaborate with him.”
Farhad Samji directs this Salman Khan production, which also features Venkatesh Daggubati, Pooja Hegde, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Palak Tiwari, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, and Jassie Gill. Billed as an action-packed family entertainer, ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,’ is set to hit theatres on Eid, April 21, 2023.
