The excitement for Dhurandhar: The Revenge is translating into a massive surge in advance ticket sales, even before its official theatrical release. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh recently highlighted the film’s explosive response on social media, revealing that paid preview bookings are selling at an astonishing rate of 7,500 tickets per hour.
Announcing the early momentum on X, Adarsh wrote, “’DHURANDHAR THE REVENGE’ ADVANCE BOOKINGS GO ON A RAMPAGE… Advance bookings for the paid previews on 18 March 2026 have just commenced, and #DhurandharTheRevenge is already trending on #BMS, selling a staggering 7.5k tickets per hour.”
The paid preview shows, scheduled for the evening of March 18 one day before the official release—have generated tremendous urgency among audiences eager to catch the spy-action sequel early. A source had earlier informed Bollywood Hungama that Jio Studios and B62 Studios are confident the film could set records for the highest collections through paid previews. This strong advance booking response builds on the success of the first Dhurandhar film, which released in December 2025 and enjoyed impressive box office collections. The sequel, directed by Aditya Dhar, continues the story following the death of Rahman Dakait and follows Ranveer Singh’s character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi (aka Hamza Ali Mazari), as he dives deeper into his high-stakes mission.
At the same time, Ranveer Singh, the film features an ensemble cast including Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. With advance bookings already trending on BookMyShow, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is poised for a strong opening across multiple languages, including several South Indian versions, aiming for a wide pan-India release on March 19, 2026.
