Dharamendra remembers working with Jayalalitha in her only B Town movie Izzat

Jayalalitha the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is no more as she was declared dead midnight by the Apollo Hospital. The politician was 68 and serving the important position as the state head of Tamil Nadu. Before entering into politics, she was a known actress in the south and has worked in a number of Kannada and Telugu movies.

Talking about Bollywood, her only venture was Izzat. Amma (fondly called by many of her fans and followers), she had worked with Dharmendra though she had worked as child actor in Hindi movies starting with Manu Mauji released in 1962. On her sudden demise in the hospital, Dharam pa ji was seen mourning on her death and remembered working with her in her only Bollywood called Izzat.

The said movie was directed by T Prakash Rao and was a known movies in the career of Amma. This gave him the opportunity to work with the lady of South. He said, he remembers dancing with fluent grace to Lata Mangeshkar called Jagi Badan Mein Jwala and has been comfortably working in the said movie with ease despite the cultural and other differences.

Amma was known as a charismatic leader in the south. Her death announcement came in a very sad note wherein the doctors treating her said that it was indescribable grief for them to announce the sad demise of the great leader and chief minister of the state. The last rights would be carried out at 11. 30 amidst the presence of countless of her fans and her near ones.
