Dhanush’s Jagame Thandhiram released today, netizens bombarded Twitter with praises, check out here!

Finally after creating much fuzz about Dhanush’s Jagame Thandhiram has released today (June 18). The makers skipped the theatres and decided to release the film on the OTT platform amid the ongoing covid-19 situation. The gangster drama has not hit on Netflix and will stream in 190 countries and in17 languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada and other foreign languages.

The film makes Dhanudh’s first entry to the digital platform. Written and directed by Petta fame Karthik Subbaraj, the film is getting a good response from the audience. And since Twitter is the best options for netizens to give the real-time verdict they bombard social media with praises for the whole cast of the film.

The story of the film revolves around a carefree gangster who is recruited to help an overseas gang lord, take down a rival. The film also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi, James Cosmo, Sanchana Natarajan, Joju George, Vaunisha Kapoor amongst others. The music composition of Santhosh Narayanan is getting all the love from the audience.

Jointly produced by Y NOT Studios and Reliance Entertainment, the Dhanush-starrer’s cinematography and editing have been done by Shreyaas Krishna and Vivek Harshan respectively.

The film was announced in April 2016, it was supposed to release in theatres on May 1, 2020, however, owing to the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown the makers postponed it.
