Deven Bhojani is a popular actor from small screen and is also seen in movie. He was born and brought up in Mumbai in the year 1969. He is completed his Graduation in Commerce from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai and then headed to the United States in filmmaking at the University of Southern California. He also tried his luck in real-estates apart from trying his hand in filmmaking and theatres. But soon he kept his focus on acting. Apart from acting he also proved to be a good director, with the show “Sarabhai vs Sarabhai”, in 2005. He has also worked in many movies as a supporting role.
His journey started with small screen in the year 1987 in Malgudi Days. He then headed to Dekh Bhai Dekh. He soon gained popularity for his comic roles and for playing some supporting characters. He has won three best director awards for Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, The ITA Award, The Indian Telly Award and The Apsara Award. Some of the TV shows include Shrimaan Shrimati, Tara, V3+, Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, Hum Sab Ek Hain, Office Office, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Instant Khichdi, Remote Control, Mrs Tendulkar, Alaxmi – Hamari Super Bahu, Bh Se Bhade, Badi Door Se Aaye Hai, Gulmohar Grand and Sumit Sambhal Lega.
Talking about debut in films, he started with the film called Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, Aaja Sanam, Andaz and Kranti Kshetra to name a few. Some of the recent movies of this man include Khichdi: The Movie, Chala Mussaddi… Office Office and Agneepath. Talking about his direction, it will start with his upcoming movie Commando 2. In fact before directing this film, which is all set to release soon, he has simply started the same with the TV show called Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.
