Dev Patel & Anupam Kher starring Hotel Mumbai met Real Life Survivors Of 26/11
As the film sizzlingel Mumbai based on 26/11 is all set to hit the screens this month, we hear that the makers are now gearing up to promote this film. Anthony Maras the known Australian filmmaker is popular for many things. Right from bagging a couple of awards for his short films, his other film Emmy on 2011 was seen nominated with the documentary Surviving Mumbai.
He planned the film after he came across several Mumbai attack survivors whom they talked about the incident. They talked to the guests and staff of The Taj in Mumbai. The conversations helped the filmmaker make the film close to reality and add the insights that define the film. With the filmmakers, even the actors of the film Dev Patel and Anupam Kher too was seen moving with the filmmaker and talking to the real-life survivors.
They left no stone unturned to keep the ball rolling to understand the emotions and other things about the film to get the crux of the characters they are going to play on the silver screen for the said movie. Talking about the film, the director said that it all started when the interviews of the survivors were shown in the media. He said he was impressed with the subject that made him interact more real-time survivors. The film will be hitting the screens on 29th November all over the country and it is also coming in Telugu and Tamil. Stay tuned to know more about it and others only with us.
