Deepika Padukone’s tweets to Smriti Irani about vandalising Padmavati Rangoli led 5 men arrest

Once we heard about the Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone tweeting about the Padmavati-inspired rangoli being destroyed at a mall in Surat by some miscreants, we saw the action being taken against them. So, five goons have been arrested from Gujarat in this case on 19th October. Four of them are the members of the Rajput Karni Sena and the others are from Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). The film Padmavati from Sanjay Leela Bhansali have been facing too much of heat from a faction of the society as they claim that the filmmaker has distorted the history while making the movie. The sets were vandalized twice while the director was even slapped by a member of Rajput Karni Sena in Jaipur while he shooting for the movie.

The sets was brought to fire and thankfully there no casualties reported about it. The team of the movie was even threatened by the right group groups with dire ends. They claim that the film is showing the love story between Rani Padmavati and the Khilji. However, the fact of the matter is they don’t even have cared to read the script before they started doing it. The character of Rani Padmini is played by Deepika Padukone and Alauddin Khilji is played by Ranveer Singh while the husband of Queen Padmavati, Maharawal Ratan Singh is played by Shahid Kapoor.

Karan K, the known artist in Surat has drawn a beautiful Padmavati rangoli when he was seen depicting Deepika Padukone’s face from the said movie and when he was attacked and his rangoli was vandalized by a bunch of 10 men, he tweeted the picture that turned viral. Soon we saw the lead actress of the film reporting the incident to the NDA Government Minister, Mrs. Smirti Irani who is the Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani on Twitter and said, this has to stop NOW & action must be taken”. And now we hear, the action being taken and four men were arrested.
