As Deepika Padukone is gearing up for her debut venture Chhappak, which is all set to hit the screens this coming January, we now hear that the leggy lass has another film to produce under her banner. Yes you heard it right, she is the part of the film covering the life of Draupadi from the epic called Maharbharta but at the same time would even act in it. The film will have Deepika and Madhu Mantena as the producers.
The leggy lass is all set to bring the story back on the silver screen with the eyes of Draupadi as she would play the leading lady in the film. While the makers now have moved ahead to get the other cast actors. The sources close to the actress claim that the film would be made in two or three parts. The first film is slated to release in 2021.
On the other side, Deepika Padukone while talking about her role in this film said that she is thrilled and honored to play the character of Draupadi. She said she truly believes in the role to be her lifetime thing. As of now, we see the makers are in talks with the top a list filmmakers to do the direction part of their project.
