Now, it’s official that Deepika Padukone is the part of the Kabir Khan next film 83. She will be playing the reel wife of Ranveer Singh apart from being her real wife and life partner. This has also made Ranveer Singh excited about playing Kapil Dev in the film and as per reports, she has already reached London to join the cast and crew. Her photo with Kabir Khan and Ranveer Singh on the sets of 83 in London has gone viral.
Amidst all this, she is back in news for the whopping amount she is going to be paid for the film. As per reports, she would be paying around 14 Crores for this role. Yes, you heard it right Deepika Padukone would be paid that amount for playing the wife of Kapil Dev in the film 83. The film is all about the victory of the Indian Cricket Team in the year 1983 when they defeated West Indies in the finals taking home the world cup. Interestingly, Deepika Padukone has a limited role to play yet she is paid a whopping amount for the same.
Talking about her other work, she has just wrapped up her shoot for her next film Chhapaak, which is based on the life of an acid attack survivor. She is also producing the film, which makes her debut in production by the lady, while Meghna Gulzar is directing the film. She has worked with Ranveer Singh in films like Raam Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. Their online and offline chemistry have been liked a lot at the silver screen.
