Deepika Padukone & PV Sindhu are the new face of ‘Bharat Ki Laxmi’ initiative
Just when the B Town was busy clicking selfies with PM Modi, we now hear that the leggy lass – Deepika Padukone would light the torch for the initiative by the PM Modi called Bharat Ki Laxmi along with the actress PV Sindhu. This initiative is all about identifying women from different walks of life who have made the difference in the lives of many and are known for their commendable work all over the country.
Deepika, as we know, has been tied up with such initiatives apart from being known as an ace actress all set to do wonders in her field. She has kept herself high with her incredible performances not just in local B Town films but also in the overseas locations. She has inspired many people all over the world with her artist and a humanitarian cause.
She has vouched for tackling mental illnesses with her NGO called Live Love Laugh Foundation, which she founded recently this year on the eve of World Mental Health Day. She even launched the ‘Closet’ initiative where her team is involved in doing the auctions of clothes from her personal collection along with carrying out various things with her foundation.
