Deepika Padukone Is the New MAMI Chairperson- Check what she says about it?
Deepika Padukone seems to be taking different roles in her personal and professional life. From a competent actress, to a loving wife, she has now a new role now as she is appointed as the new chairperson of MAMI or Mumbai Academy of Moving Image this year. This makes people say that the Indian cinema is now in the hands of a gorgeous lady waiting to be promoted hard overseas to get a global recognition. But for Deepika, she has her own plans how she would like to move this body ahead.
Talking about about this role, she said that she has only agreed to do this role as she feels that it is vital for the youth to be the part of such groups, movements or other things that actually brings out the required changes only is in the hands of people who would lead the future. She was talking about this in the recently held Zee Cine Awards 2019. She then said that everyone has the responsibility to shape the way the Hindi Cinema would move ahead.
Talking about her work side, she is the part of the biopic made on the life of a acid attack survivior called Chapak. Interesting with this film, she has a new role to play. Apart from playing the lead role in the film she is also the producer of the said biopic. Meghna Gulzar, the Raazi fame director is directing this film and it all set to hit the screens soon.
