Deepika Padukone is among few B Town divas who have been active in social work. She has her NGO called The Live Love Laugh Foundation that deals with people suffering from mental health and other issues. Her NGO takes care of such issues that have remained taboo issues in our society and people still do not want to talk about it if they tend to be the victim of the same.
As per the latest, she has bagged the Crystal Award 2020 for her The Live Love Laugh Foundation. Considering her efforts in this direction, she agreed to be part of the film Chhapaak as it talked about the plight of a woman and her struggle story. Unfortunately, her visit to JNU was maligned for a wrong reason that somewhere even hampered her film as a certain fringe group acted against her.
She has posted the picture with the award she has bagged last night at her Instagram page. Well, have a look at it as under:

Her foundation helps people to come out from mental health issues. She has been awarded for her efforts at the World Economic Forum 2020 which is held in Switzerland for creating awareness about her mental health. She has expressed her gratitude for the award making once again her country and husband Ranveer Singh proud. Talking about her work, she will be seen in the role of Romi Dev in Kabir Khan’s film ’83 with Ranveer Singh.
