Deepika Padukone who is apparently in the news for her upcoming Hollywood venture xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage starring Vin Diesel will not be seen Siddharth Anand’s Indo-Chinese project.
“These are mere rumours. Deepika has not even been approached for the film,” said a spokesperson.
The film is backed by eros International and o-productions are with Chinese film companies Peacock Mountain Culture & Media Ltd and Huaxia Film Distribution Co Ltd.
Kabir Khan’s travel drama The Zookeeper (working title) and Anand’s cross-cultural romantic comedy Love in Beijing (working title) will be released in 2018. Anand’s Love in Beijing is based on an Indian girl who falls in love with a Chinese man.
Deppika is also preparing for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Padmavati’ opposite Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead.
