It was an extended weekend for the film De De Pyaar De as the film was released a day before Friday the usual day of movie releases in India. The makers also felt that their film has the potential of earning big hence they pushed the release date a day earlier at the box office. The solo release and a decent ratings for the romantic comedy made all the difference giving the film a good boost on the 1st weekend.

However, Sunday seemed a big affected as it was the last phase of elections in India. Yet the collection seemed decent reaching to 13.5 Crores at the box office.
